OLAG alumna, Frederica (Rica) Aboagye, is returning to Microsoft this summer as a software engineering intern! Rica is studying Computer Science and Mathematical Economics at Pitzer College in Claremont, CA and proudly credits her OLAG experience as being critical to her success in college and at Microsoft.

SHINE ON Santa Barbara 2026

In January, we hosted the SHINE ON Santa Barbara breakfast. It was a fantastic morning of fellowship and learning more about the mission of Rise & Shine and its development. Highlights included a panel discussion, “The Impact of Investing in Education in Africa” featuring OLAG alumna Frederica Aboagye, Jeff Staley, and Chris Toomey and a warm welcome from a local Ghanaian drum group.
