At Rise & Shine we are committed to providing the resources and support necessary for the community of St. Joseph’s elementary schools and parish and for student’s at Our Lady of Grace Senior High School (OLAG) to unlock a better future and realize their full potential to become leaders and innovators in tomorrow’s world. Thank you for being the driving force behind the Ghana mission. Your commitment helps to change the lives of students and families in Mamponteng, Ghana, and is making a profound impact.
During the 24-25 year, Rise & Shine met its budgeted goal with $1.2M in individual contributions. In addition to these donations, Rise & Shine was able to further support the Ghana mission through a grant of $228,955 received from the Nina Simone Charitable Trust and through $150,000 raised for Tertiary Scholarships.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are able to set a higher goal with a budget of $1.6M and develop more connections throughout the United States through our SHINE ON event initiatives and our new Gateway Dinners.
