Minneapolis, YOU made a difference!
Abundant joy and hope filled the room at the Marriott Minneapolis Southwest on September 12th as over 355 people gathered for the SHINE ON Minneapolis Breakfast!
Guests enjoyed a morning with long-time friends and made new connections with others who all recognize the importance of our support for students at OLAG.
Jeff Dykstra moderated a panel discussion with Warren Staley and Emmanuel Ogyem Boakye about the impact of investing in education in Africa.
OLAG graduate and current University of Mary student, Sincere Lugugia, shared her gratitude for the difference of a Rise & Shine scholarship in her life as she introduced a video about Rise & Shine inspiring change at OLAG.
$774,821 of our $1.66M goal!
SHINE ON Minneapolis helped Rise & Shine reach 47% of our $1.66 million budget. This money will be able to support 310 OLAG students by covering their education and boarding for one year.
Thank you all for making SHINE ON Minneapolis a success. The money raised will primarily be used for OLAG scholarship and operating support and sets us well on our way to reach our goal of $1.66M.
Because of you and your enthusiasm for this event, we will be able to continue providing opportunities for students at OLAG. We look forward to welcoming you again in 2026!
